ABOUT THE PROJECT
VELCO is a Montreal-based artist whose work sits at the intersection of graphic design and pointillism tattooing. Grounded and deeply present, his calm energy naturally puts people at ease - an essential part of both his creative process and his client experience. He invited me to document his work in a way that felt true to him: focused, intentional, and intimate. These images capture not only his technique, but the quiet confidence, care, and trust that define his practice.

The Results
The final gallery included 25 images designed to give VELCO a flexible, cohesive visual library. The selection combines environmental details, close-ups of the tattoo process, moments of focused creation, and images of the other artists in the studio, reflecting both his craft and his collaborative nature.
While his presence is felt throughout, the focus remains on the work itself. These images blend into his regular content, offering intentional imagery that feels authentic, grounded, and aligned with how he naturally shows up.
